Training & Workshops in Kuwait

Practical training and workshops on AI adoption, digital visibility, marketing and technology literacy — in Arabic or English, in-house or at an event, for teams in Kuwait and the GCC.

Discuss a Project View My Work

I have been teaching this subject for as long as I have been practising it. Training is not a sideline to the consulting work — it is where I find out what the market is actually confused about, which is rarely what the reports say it is confused about.

Sessions run in Arabic or English, in-house or at an event, for teams that need to use a technology rather than admire it.

What I train on

AI adoption for business teams

Not a tour of tools. Where AI genuinely helps a specific team, how to judge whether a use case will pay for itself, what to hand it and what to keep human, and how to spot the projects that will quietly fail. Most valuable for managers who are being asked to “do something with AI” without a brief.

Digital visibility: search, answers and AI assistants

How discovery actually works now that a large share of questions are answered without a click. Covers the fundamentals of search visibility, what makes a page usable as a direct answer, and why some businesses get named by AI assistants while larger competitors do not.

Digital marketing and social media

The discipline I have taught longest, updated continuously. Audience, message, channel and measurement — with the emphasis on what can be measured and defended internally rather than what looks good in a deck.

Web and digital product literacy for non-technical teams

For marketing, operations and management people who commission technical work but do not build it. How to write a brief a developer can act on, how to tell a real estimate from a hopeful one, and which questions to ask a vendor before signing.

Formats

  • In-house workshops — half or full day with one team, built around your own systems and examples
  • Executive briefings — ninety minutes for decision-makers who need judgement, not instruction
  • Conference and forum talks — a single subject argued properly for a mixed audience
  • Short courses — several sessions over weeks, where the subject needs practice between them
  • Train-the-team — working with the person who will carry it internally after I leave

How a session gets built

I do not have a deck I deliver unchanged. Every session starts with a short conversation about who is in the room, what they are being asked to do differently afterwards, and what they have already tried that did not work. That last question usually reshapes the whole thing.

Where possible I use your material rather than generic examples — your site, your funnel, your data, your competitors. People engage with their own problem in a way they never engage with a case study about a company in another market.

Sessions end with something written down: the decisions taken, the things to stop doing, and who owns what next. A workshop that ends in enthusiasm and no artefact has a short half-life.

Who it is for

Most of this work is with corporate teams, government entities and educational institutions in Kuwait and the wider Gulf, delivered for professional and educational audiences at forums, summits and in-house programmes. Groups are usually between eight and thirty people — small enough that questions get answered properly.

It is worth saying who it is not for. If you want a motivational session about the future of technology, I am the wrong choice. The sessions are practical and occasionally uncomfortable, because the useful part is usually the discussion of what is not working.

Language

I teach in Arabic and English, and I mean genuinely in either — not English slides read out in Arabic. In a mixed room this matters more than it sounds: the questions people ask in their first language are more honest, and more useful, than the ones they translate first.

Frequently asked questions

Can you build a session around our own systems?

Yes, and it works considerably better. Give me access to what the team actually uses — the site, the analytics, the tools — and the session becomes a working review rather than a lecture. This does mean a little preparation on your side beforehand.

How technical does the audience need to be?

Not at all, for most of the subjects. A large part of the work is making technical decisions legible to people who have to approve them without being engineers. Tell me the mix in the room and I will pitch it accordingly.

Do you deliver outside Kuwait?

Yes, across the GCC, and remotely where the format suits it. Workshops that depend on discussion generally work better in a room; briefings and short courses translate to remote delivery without much loss.

Do you provide materials afterwards?

Slides, any working documents produced during the session, and a short written summary of the decisions and next steps. The summary is the part people actually return to.

Can training lead into consulting work?

Often it does, but the session is not a sales pitch and I will not treat it as one. Sometimes the outcome is that a team realises it can do the work itself, which is a perfectly good result. If you want the two combined deliberately, say so and I will scope it that way — see AI consulting and Fractional CTO services.
